Rabbi Faith Cantor has been involved in Jewish education for over 20 years. As a Rabbinical student, she opened a small multi-aged Cheder (one room school house) and discovered how important are both differentiation and multi-sensory learning. She received her Masters in Education at the Jewish Theological Seminary at the same time she was ordained. Rabbi Cantor has worked in Solomon Schechter Day Schools, Congregational Schools and One on One learning throughout her career. She was the Associate Rabbi at Temple Israel in Charlotte, North Carolina and the Rabbi Educator at Beth El Congregation in Baltimore, Maryland. Rabbi Cantor is experienced in curriculum design and working with students who have language based learning differences. She has also helped to facilitate the Bar/Bat Mitzvah of students who are on the Autism Spectrum. Rabbi Cantor loves Jewish camping and often uses a camp model of informal learning with her students. Rabbi Cantor lives in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband and five children. In her limited free time, she loves cooking, reading, and watching veterinary shows on tv.
