Garenim Services

Garenim facilitates Jewish education for students with learning differences; developmental delay and on the Autism Spectrum.  We also outreach to Jewish families who are looking to give their children a unique Jewish learning experience.
One to One Learning
For some students, learning one-on one with an adult provides an environment for focus and success. One on One study sessions are available in person or via Skype. These can be individualized to each child’s area of interest.

Small Group Learning
Small groups of similar styled learners will meet together for multi-sensory Jewish learning experiences. Meeting times and locations are flexible and families will have input into the curriculum. Small groups will have the opportunity to meet once a week or twice a week.

Educational Consulting
Garenim will visit Congregational Schools, Day Schools and any other learning environments to provide suggestions and supports for students who learn differently. Garenim will also offer workshops and teacher training. Garenim will work with schools and synagogues to foster a culture of inclusion.
Bar/Bat Mitzvah Preparations
Garenim provides Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparations for families affiliated with a synagogue, or who are looking for a unique Bar/Bat Mitzvah experience. Garenim works within the structure of congregations and will prepare students according to their community’s customs.

Celebrate My Way
Designed for students on the Autism Spectrum and their families, these holiday programs will provide unique multi-sensory experiences allowing families to celebrate Jewish holidays in a comfortable environment.
